Kangana Ranaut to get ‘Y+’ category security cover from the Centre

New Delhi: Union Home Ministry has approved ‘Y+’ category security cover to Hindi film actress Kangana Ranaut. This means, Kangana will be protected by Central para-military personnel when she is in Mumbai, most likely through Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). She will have 11 para military personnel protecting her including two commandos. While two commandos will always be with her for protection, one CRPF personnel will be deployed on static duty at her house at any given time. Overall, 11 personnel (5 for static and 6 for personal security) will be in her protection over three shifts.

Kangana hails from Himachal Pradesh. She is presently living in her bungalow in Manali in Himachal Pradesh with her family. Amid threats from ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, she is going to visit Maharashtra capital Mumbai on 9 September.

For last few weeks, verbal fight is going on via social media and conventional media between Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut over actor Sushant Singh Rajput mysterious death case. While Sanjay Raut has used abusive term ‘Haramkhor’ for Kangana and dared here to come to Maharashtra, Kangana has from her side dared ruling dispensation to do whatever they can when she arrives Mumbai on 9 September. Mahrashtra Home Minister Deshmukh has also in a statement said that Kangana has no right to live in Maharashtra or Mumbai.

Himachal Pradesh government was preparing to sent its security personnel to protect Kangana when she is in Mumbai. Kangana has recently challenged drug cartel and nepotism nexus in Mumbai based Hindi film industry in which she works. Kangana has a house in Mumbai too where she spends more time than her house in Manali in Himachal Pradesh. DeshGujarat
