Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil hospitalized as Covid-19 suspected case; antigen test result negative

Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s State president and Navsari Lok Sabha seat member CR Patil has been admitted to Apollo hospital in Gandhinagar as suspected case of Covid-19. Patil’s CT scan report was not good and he was suspected as Covid-19 positive. However his antigen report was negative. His RT-PCR test result will be out by midnight or tomorrow. He is being treated at present at Apollo hospital on the basis of HRCT report. Apollo hospital is the nearest major hospital close to State BJP headquarters. Patil is admitted to its room number 1138.

Several persons working at State BJP headquarters including office secretary Paresh mama, Mahila morcha office secretary Mona Rawal, telephone operator Rakesh Pandya, two sweepers and driver among others are detected Covid-19 positive. Barricading has been done at the office now which has emerged as a Covid-19 hotspot due to constant movements of party workers, leaders and visitors. DeshGujarat
