Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil tested positive for Covid-19

Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP chief C R Paatil has tested covid-19 positive, Apollo hospital in Gandhinagar where he is admitted said today.
“Paatil is currently admitted to Apollo Hospitals and is undergoing treatment for COVID-19. He is currently stable and being taken care of by multidisciplinary team of specialists,” the hospital said in a statement.
Patil was yesterday admitted to Apollo hospital in Gandhinagar as suspected-Covid-19 case on the basis of his CT Scan report. Later he underwent antigen and RT-PCR tests for Covid-19. While his antigen test result was negative, his RT-PCR test result is positive.
