Agriculture Officer nabbed taking Rs. 1.50 lakh bribe by ACB in Chhota Udepur district

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has nabbed an agriculture officer of Government (class-2) in Chhota Udepur district for seeking and accepting Rs. 1.5 lakh bribe. Accused officer Yogesh Jethabhai Amin is at present posted in Agriculture Director office ( Jamin Chakasni laboratory) in Dahod.
Accused who is resident of Vadodara city had served show cause notice to a shop keeper who is into business of pesticides, chemical fertilizers and seeds. Bribe accused officer demanded Rs. 2.50 lakh bribe to settle the notice. Later after some bargaining the final bribe amount was fixed at Rs. 1.50 lakh. On complaint of shop-keeper, ACB Vadodara rura police station arranged a trap and nabbed accused officer while receiving Rs. 1.50 lakh bribe. DeshGujarat
