Gujarat govt announces scheme of assistance for self sufficient Panjrapols

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has announced a new scheme for self-sufficient Panjrapols in the State under which the government will offer assistance for tubewell, solar electric panel, green fodder baler, chaff cutter, irrigation system, rain-gun or spirnkler and pipeline for water to registered panjrapols in order to ensure that such panjrapols use their plots to cultivate fodder and make it available to cattle.

The Government will offer upto Rs. 10 lakh assistance for tubewell to registered panjrapols that have 1-10 hectare land. Assistance in the limit of Rs. 8 lakh will be offered for solar electric panel. Upto Rs. 1.25 lakh assistance will be given for chaff cutter facility. Upto Rs. 3.50 lakh assistance will be given for green fodder baler to Panjrapols that have land in the size of 4 to 10 hectare. Assistance in limit of maximum Rs. 5 lakh will be offered for sprinkler irrigation system. Assistance in the range of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 1.05 lakh will be given for rain gun irrigation system.

Applications for these benefits will have to be submitted on I Khedut portal.
