Fire breaks out in hospital in Surat; patients evacuated and safe

Surat: All 16 patients were evacuated and none was hurt in an incident of fire that broke out at a private run Tristar Hospital in Nanpura area here at around 2.30 pm. The blaze had erupted on the ground floor of the four – storey hospital building where a server room was located. Eventually, smoke spread on the first floor. Primary cause of fire has been identified as short circuit. The hospital had required no objection certificate (NOC). Tristar is functioning as non-covid hospital and none of patients had covid.
