Statue of Unity: Gujarat State assembly speaker Rajendra Trivedi today said that the 80th convention of assembly speakers from across the States will be held at Statue of Unity based tent city – 2. He said Speakers of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and 33 State assemblies will attend this convention which will be also addressed by the President of India and the Vice President in physical presence while the Prime Minister will address a concluding session virtually via online video conferencing. Trivedi visited the venue in order to review the preparations for this national event. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha is likely to attend the convention. The guests are likely to arrive on 24 November. They will participate in the convention during 25-26 November and visit the Statue of Unity and other tourism project nearby on November 27. DeshGujarat
