500 vaccines against coronavirus arrive at Sola civil hospital for trial: Nitin Patel

Gandhinagar: Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel who is also State health minister today said that 500 vaccines against coronavirus, developed by Bharat Biotech have reached Sola based civil hospital in Ahmedabad and kept in cold storage facility.
Patel said senior experts have come to Ahmdabad to give training to doctors regarding vaccine trials.
He said youths without any disease are to be vaccinated through two doses in a month. Those vaccinated will be under constant monitoring for all parameters, he added.
Covaxin is being developed indigenously by vaccine maker Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
