Rs. 44.52 crore Garudeshwar bridge inaugurated

Statue of Unity: A new bridge over river Narmada in Garudeshwar, better known as Garudeshwar bridge was opened on Monday. Its construction cost according to a note released by the State government is Rs. 44.52 crore. A new bridge will is located on national highway number 56. It will be useful for visitors to Statue of Unity and other sites of tourist attraction at Kevadiya. It will be also used by those commuting on Maharasthra – Vadodara route. It will be also used by locals from Narmada district among others.
