Rajkot: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon perform Shilanyas for construction of new buildings for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot, said Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel who is also State’s health and road & building minister. Patel said required land has been allotted for AIIMS and road construction process has also approved. Patel said this will be the first AIIMS in Gujarat after independence that has been granted by Prime Minister Narendrabhai. AIIMS will have speciality, super speciality hospital and research centre with also a medical college.
