Four passengers from UK tested COVID19 positive at SVPI airport in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Four passengers of those who arrived by Vande Bharat flight AI1172 from London to Ahmedabad at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport here, tested COVID19 positive. There were total 275 persons in the flight. Those detected positive have been shifted to AMC run SVP Hospital for treatment. Amid mutant strain, considering the prevailing situation in the UK, Indian govt has decided that all flights originating from the UK to India shall be temporarily suspended till 11:59 pm, 31st December. This suspension to start w.e.f. 11.59 pm, 22nd December. Passengers arriving from UK in flights that land in India by 11.59 PM on Tuesday undergo mandatory RT-PCR test at airports. DeshGujarat
