Lions spotted near Aaji dam, just outside the limits of Rajkot city

Rajkot: A group of lions has entered into the limits of Rajkot district of Saurashtra for last around two months. The lions have been regularly spotted in different parts of the district as they move from one place to another. Killing of cattle have also been reported, indicating the route of travel of lions in the district. In latest, lions are spotted near Aaji dam, just outside the city of Rajkot, former capital of then Saurashtra state. At around 4 am today, two lions were spotted in Kalubhai Bijalbhai Mundhwa’s farm. They killed one cow. The locals have captured roaring lions in video in torch light. Lions remained in Kalubhai’s farm for around 45 minutes or so. DeshGujarat
