Ahmedabad Range IG Kesrisinh Bhati dies after brief illness

Gandhiangar: Kesrisinh Bhati(57), an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of 1999 batch, and Inspector General (IG) of Ahmedabad Range of Gujarat Police passed away today due to multiple organ failure. Bhati was taken to a private run Zydus hospital after suffering heart attack couple of days ago. Late Police Officer was after serving on various posts, was appointed as Ahmedabad Range IG in August last year. State DGP Ashish Bhatia in a tweet paying tribute to late police officer said: Sad to learn about the untimely demise of IGP Ahmedabad range KS bhatti IPS. He was a competent, sincere and hardworking officer. May almighty God give strength to the family to bear this loss. Gujarat police stands by the family in this moment of sorrow.
