Unjha to get a new Sardar Patel AC town hall; Shilanyas performed

Unjha: Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel today performed Shilanyas for a 700-seat Rs. 7.90 crore town hall in North Gujarat’s major agriculture centre Unjha. The town is part of Nitin Patel’s native Mahesana district which he represents in the State assembly. On this occasion, Nitin Patel made announcement to name this new auditorium after Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Patel performed ground breaking for Rs. 13 crore works that also include construction of a new primary school. Patel in his address listed out the works done by him since 1977 through his political career in different roles. He said a six-lane highway construction works is underway on Mahesana – Palanpur route. He said the highway will have provision of service road. He said the highway will be even better than Mahesana – Vijapur – Himmatnagar highway. Patel said the works for which shilanyas was performed today are thanks to Urban Development department headed by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Patel said town halls are important for city’s cultural development and our government has in recent past built town halls in Kadi and Mahesana also in North Gujarat. He said proposed town hall in Unjha will have sufficient facility of parking, small and major halls, conference hall etc facilities.
