Wild animal spotted in Vastral outskirts of Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Movement of some leopard like wild animal was reported in Vastral area of outskirts of Ahmedabad city and forest department was informed about the same. However when probed through pug marks and video footage, it was concluded that it was not leopard by striped hyena (Zarakh). The forest department found pug marks near Shakti Mata mandir in the farm of Bhayji Rajaji in outskirts of Vastral area. CCTV footage was received from near Kabir Mandir in same area. Range Forest Office had advised locals not to sleep outside, take care during outing in the night and keep battery and sound making object with self. Forest department also announced phone numbers to send information if wild animal is spotted. Cages were also put in outer areas of Vastral.
