Gandhinagar: World famous Modhera Sun temple will be showcased in a tableau of Gujarat in upcoming Republic day parade at Rajpath in New Delhi. Around 60 artists have worked hard for three months to make this tableau. Solanki dynasty ruler Bhimdev Solanki (first) had built a Sun temple in Modhera in North Gujarat in 1026-27 AD which is believed older than Konark Sun temple. Along with a tableau, 12 women folk dancers will present Tippani dance. DeshGujarat
