Ancient Shivling discovered during Varahi temple reconstruction in Chanasma

Mahesana: A half ft tall and 12 inch wide Shivling has been discovered from 8 ft below surface of Garbha Griha during reconstruction work of Goddess Varahi temple in Chanasma in North Gujarat. Temple priest Kesarpuri Maharaj has started worshiping Shivling. According to temple priest, ancient temple was built in Vikram Samvat 772. Goddess Varahi is Kuldvi of Audichya Brahman.
