Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said the candidates for local elections have been finalized and will be announced in phased manner by evening today. Party candidates in six cities will gather at respective party offices and go to Returning Officers to file nominations at 12.39 pm tomorrow. Patil said, former Mayors, those who have completed three terms, relatives of party leaders and those who are sixty or above are not going to take ticket. The party will hold meeting with such leaders, region wise. Patil said, fifty per cent of 576 candidates finalized for civic elections are women.
