Amit Shah reacts to BJP win in Gujarat civic polls

New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and State BJP chief CR Patil today visited union Home minister and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat representative Amit Shah’s residence in Thaltej area in the city after grand victory of party in six-city elections of municipal corporations. Shah is in the city to attend the inauguration of world’s largest cricket stadium at Motera tomorrow by the President of India.

Shah reacted to party’s win in civic elections by giving byte to news agency ANI at his residence in the evening. He congratulated the party for winning nearly 85 per cent seats and called it one of the best victories of party in the State. Shah also took note of Congress party’s one of worst defeats. State BJP leaders offered sweets to Shah.
