So where did Congress win in AMC election 2021?

Ahmedabad: So which are the seats where Congress could win in Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) election, 2021 today? Well the most seats are from Muslims populated areas.
Rajshri Kesri has been elected from Chandkheda ward, Padmaben Brahmbhatt from India Colony, while Jagdish Rathod has been elected from Amraiwadi ward. These three are the only non-Muslim wards from where Congress candidate have won.
Other Congress candidates victorious today are all from Muslims populated areas. Haji Mirza is elected from Maktampura (Juhapura).
Zulfikar Taufikkhan Pathan, Rukhsanabanu Ghanchi, Mohammad Sheikh, Kamlaben Chauhan are elected from Gomtipur.
Samira Sheikh, Imtiyaz Hussain Sheikh, Nirav Surendra Bakshi and Madhuri Kalapi are elected from Dariyapur.
Shahezadkhan Pathan, Ramilaben Parmar, Jamnaben Vegda and Mohammsalim Sabuwala are elected from Danilimda.
Rafik Sheikh, Tansimalam Tirmizi, Shahjahbanu Ansari and Kamlaben Chavda are elected from Baherampura.
Akbar Bhatti has been elected from Shahpur ward.
Thus out of twenty Congress councilors elected, twelve are Muslims and seventeen are elected from Muslims populated areas.
In 2010 there were 19 Muslims elected from Congress party. In 2015 they were 20. The number is down to 12 this year as number of Muslims are elected from new entrant AIMIM party.
