ACB Gujarat nabs a cop in Rs. 5,000 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed one Divabhai Davhad, an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Khergam police station in Navsari district for seeking and taking Rs. 5,000 bribe from jaggery trader.
According to a complaint, accused had asked jaggery trader that he would be made accused if someone buys jaggery from him and use it to make country liquor. Accused cop had threatened jaggery trader to mention his name as accused in such case and told him to pay Rs. 5,000 as hafta payment.
