Gujarat Taluka Panchayat polls: BJP’s vote share 52.27%, seat share 70.23%

Gandhinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 52.27 per cent of popular votes along with 3351 seats in Taluka Panchayat elections, results of which were declared today. The party has thus won over 70.23 per cent of seats. Rival Congress party has attracted 38.82 per cent votes along with 1252 seats. Total 4771 went to election, including 117 that were won uncontested.
