ACB Gujarat nabs Assistant Engineer in Surat in Rs. 15,000 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed Jignesh Modi, Assistant Engineer of Drainage department in Surat for allegedly seeking and taking Rs. 15,000 bribe. According to ACB, accused had demanded bribe for drainage connection to 120 flats of a building in Jahangirpura area of city at the rate of Rs. 150 per flat. Accused first demanded Rs. 18,000 but later settled for Rs. 15,000. He was nabbed while receiving bribe.
