Amit Shah inaugurates Devasya hospital at Bopal in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: Union Home minister Amit Shah inaugurated Devasya super specialty kidney and multispecialty hospital in Bopal area of his Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency in Ahmedabad. He was accompanied with his grand daughter and by local MLA and councilors. This was Shah’s only public programme during his visit to the city. However his reported meeting with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel at undisclosed location in the city is in greater discussion across political circles of western India and Delhi. NCP leaders reportedly arrived in chartered flight at Sardar Patel airport on March 26 evening and drove to Adani headquarters based guest house in Shantigram township located between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. NCP leaders left Ahmedabad after overnight stay at Adani facility. Adani Group founder Gautam Adani went to airport to see off the NCP leaders as they left Ahmedabad. Shah was also on private visit to the city during Pawar and Praful Patel’s visit here. In the backdrop of crisis over Vaze and Vasooli row in Maharashtra, political observers are giving importance to rumored meeting between Shah and Pawar.
