Dakor Fagani Poonam religious ceremonies conducted in absence of public

Dakor: Ranchhodray’s aarti at Dakor temple here was performed at 6.15 am as per religious customs, in absence of public due to Covid19 pandemic. As per conventions, the district administration and district police offered religious flag to the temple. During three-day Holi festival, live telecast of religious ceremonies is being aired to public , so that they can virtually attend it. Dakor’s Fagani Poonam fair is very famous and attract nearly a million devotees every year. However due to pandemic, the fair is cancelled for last two years. Religious ceremonies however continue in limited presence of representatives from district administration, police, temple priests and staffers.
