Junagadh: Girnar forest located near Junagadh in Gujarat is a home for a number of animals and plant species and its natural beauty attracts a number of tourists every year. Summer Season for Girnar Nature Safari has started from 1st March, 2021 and it will continue till 15th June, 2021. The morning timings are 6 AM to 9 AM and evening timings are 4 PM to 7 PM. Girnar Nature Safari lets the tourists view the wildlife and nature at Girnar Forest via Open Gypsy running on designated tracks. The open gypsies are locally available from the Parking area near Booking and Reception Center, Indreshwar Thana, Junagadh. The Safari Permit Charges for up to 6 persons are 800 INR for Indians and 5600 INR for foreigners during Monday to Friday and 1000 INR for Indians and 7000 INR for foreigners during Saturday, Sunday and festival days. The charges for extra child are 100 INR for Indians and 1400 INR for foreigners during weekdays and 125 INR for Indians and 1750 INR for foreigners during weekends and festival days. However, the permit charges excludes eco-guide charges (400 INR) and safari gypsy charges (2000 INR), which need to be paid separately.

The winter season for Girnar Nature Safari will be from 16th October to 28th/29th February and the timings will remain 6.45 AM to 9.45 AM in the morning and 3 PM to 6 PM in the evening. The sanctuary remains closed from 16th June to 15th October and the safari is halted during Girnar Parikrama and Mahashivratri every year.
