Vadodara: Temples and religious places across Gujarat to remain closed amidst surge in Covid-19 cases

Many temples and religious places across Gujarat are going to remain closed for the devotees during upcoming days due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the state.

The Dwarkadhish Temple will remain closed for a period of 19 days- from 12th April 2021 to 30th April 2021 and the devotees will be able to do online darshan on the website dwarkadhish.org. The Shamlaji Temple at Aravalli district in Gujarat is also going to remain closed for 10 days from today onwards. Bahucharaji Temple at Mehsana will be closed for darshan from 13th April 2021 to 30th April 2021, as per a press-note from Shree Bahucharaji Mataji Temple Trust. Parnera Chamunda Mataji Temple at Valsad will be closed from 13th April to 22nd April 2021. Shree Bhagvat Vidhyapith Parisar at Ahmedabad will remain closed for devotees from today- 12th April 2021 onwards.

In addition to Dwarkadhish Temple, other temples in Saurashtra and Kutch region will also remain closed during upcoming days considering the increasing number of Covid-19 cases. A decision regarding closure of Maa Ashapura Temple or Mata-no-Madh at Kutch district from today has been taken by the Temple Trust. BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir at Sarangpur and all other temples under it will remain shut from 11th April to 30th April 2021. Virpur Jalaram Temple and its Annakshetra at Rajkot district is also closed from 11th April onwards. Shri Guru Ashram at Bagdana in Bhavnagar district will remain closed from Tuesday 13th April 2021 onwards.
