Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil was vaccinated today with first dose of Covaxin administered on him at Apollo hospital in Bhat area of Gandhinagar. Patil’s wife also took jab of vaccine.

In reply to media queries Patil said, Gujarat BJP’s page committee is not just for elections but also to serve the people when in need. On one page there are ten houses and if the persons on page are in need of assistance, the party workers will look after them. If required, party workers can contact district leaders and the district leaders can contact the State leaders for help.

Preparations are in progress to start one to two thousands isolation centres across the State as per feedback I have received, said Patil.

‘In Surat, at SMIMER and Civil hospital, we serve relatives of patients, doctors, nurses, drivers of ambulance etc with nutritious meals. We have asked district presidents of party to do same in various districts,’ Patel added. DeshGujarat
