Gandhinagar: There has been reduction in daily number of fresh cases of Covid19 reported in Gujarat. While a day ago, the number of fresh cases in the state was 14,605, today the number was reduced to 13,847.

There has been decrease in fresh cases in Ahmedabad which was at 4,980 today compared to 5,391 yesterday.

The number of recoveries has further improved. Yesterday 10,180 covid patients had recovered, while today 10,582 patients have recovered.

The State witnessed vaccination of total 2.17 lakh people in a day including 55,235 first doses in 18-44 age group.

Thanks to good recoveries and lesser number of fresh cases, the total number of active case in the State has almost remained steady at 1.42 lakh. Active cases in the State yesterday were 1,42,046 while today it is 1,42,139. DeshGujarat
