Gandhinagar: Gujarat has reported 11,892 fresh cases of covid19 against 14,737 recoveries and 119 deaths in a day as per the latest daily bulletin by the State health department. While the count of recoveries has further improved, the count of fresh cases reported in a day has gone down further. The number of active cases has also gone down further to 1,43,421. Among the places, Ahmedabad city has reported highest 3,359 covid cases in a day followed by Surat at 889, Vadodara 710, Mahesana 588, Vadodara 439, Rajkot city at 396, Jamnagar city at 382 among other places.
