Gandhinagar: Gujarat has reported 11,084 fresh cases of Covid19 infection in a day along with 14,770 recoveries and 121 deaths of covid patients. With this recovery rate has improved to 78.27 per cent.

The city of Ahmedabad has shown significant reduction in the number of fresh cases down from 3359 a day ago to 2883 today. Surat and Rajkot city among other places have also shown decrease in the number of fresh cases.

The total count of current active cases of covid19 has come down from 1.43 lakh a day ago to 1.39 lakh today.

The State has so far completed first dose covid vaccination of 1.3 crore persons while the second dose has been administered on 32.14 lakh persons.

Today in 18-44 age group, 13,537 persons were given first dose while in 45+ age group 24,886 were given first dose and 91,215 were given second dose of vaccine.
