Gandhinagar: Gujarat reported 9061 fresh cases of Covid19 against recovery of 15076 covid patients taking recovery rate further higher to 83.84 per cent in a day. 95 covid patients died in a day. Active cases of covid19 in the State are now down to 1,11,263. The total death toll due to covid19 in the State so far since the first case in March 2020 has today gone beyond 9,000 at 9,039. One significant development visible in the State health department’s daily bulletin released today is that the city of Vadodara has today seen more recoveries than fresh cases. Ahmedabad and Surat have for last few days continuously seen more discharges than fresh cases already, so as Rajkot. Jamnagar, Mahesana, Anand etc places are also witnessing higher recoveries than fresh cases reported. A count of fresh cases in Ahmedabad has gone down below 2500 at 2396. DeshGujarat
