Shops allowed to open during 9 am to 6 pm; night curfew extended for another week

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has in a core committee meeting on Covid19 pandemic today taken a decision to allow opening of all shops, hawker stalls, cabins, beauty parlors and hair cutting salon, marketing yards, shopping complexes etc commercial units in 36 cities of the State during 9 am to 6 pm with effect from June 4. For now the shops are permitted to open during 9 am to 3 pm only but from 4 June onwards they shall function for 3 more hours. Home delivery from restaurants will be allowed till 10 pm as per a new decision in a core committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rupani. Existing night curfew in 36 cities has been extended for another week (from 4 June to 11 June). It will be observed from 9 pm to 6 am daily. DeshGujarat
