Half AMTS buses to be back on the roads from June 7 for passengers: AMC

Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to resume the Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMS) run city bus operations from June 7. The AMC will operationalize only half of the buses, that too with half passengers capacity. The buses will operate only during 6 am to 8 pm. Tickets will be issued for only fix stages. Mask wearing and spitting rules violation will attract Rs. 200 fine. Staffers will be checked for their health symptoms and temperature. Buses will be sanitized on daily basis. The seats in the buses will have stickers indicating social distancing requirements. Various teams have been formed for frequent checking to ensure compliance of rules. DeshGujarat
