Rupani e dedicates new oxygen plant at Vadtal Swaminarayan hospital

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani e-dedicated from here today thorough videoconference an oxygen plant at Swaminarayan Multispecialty Hospital at Vadtal, in presence of Rakesh Prasadji Maharaj of Swami Narayan Dham.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that it was because of the inspiration from Rakesh Prasadji that 300 MT PSA plant was set up to draw oxygen from air to overcome the limitation of producing liquid oxygen.
Rupani lauded the cooperation of several religious and other organisations like Amul and Banas dairy, NRIs in fulfilling the oxygen demand in this critical time of coronavirus.
He said that Gujarat was able to control the spread of first and second wave of the coronavirus and experts are now bracing up to be fully equipped to face in case of third wave of the virus.
No sooner than Mr. Rupani appealed to set up another oxygen plant at the hospital, the hospital’s head Dhanjibhai announced on the spot donation of Rs. 15-lakh and BJP Chief Whip in State Assembly Pankaj Desai donation of Rs. 10-lakh, while Member of Parliament Devusinh Chauhan announced donation of Rs. 35-lakh for a modern ambulance.
Describing vaccination as infallible weapon ‘Ram Vaan’ against the virus, the Chief Minister said that vaccination for 18-44 and above-45 age group is on. Even as the number of daily fresh cases has come below 1,000, the recovery rate is 96 per cent.
