Gujarat govt announces relief in property tax, electricity bills to hotels, resorts, restaurants, water parks

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to waive off property tax of hotels, resorts, restaurants and water parks for the period of 1st April 2021 to 31st of March 2022.
The decision was taken in a core committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today.
In a related decision, the government also decided to give waiver of fix charge in electracy bills to resorts, hotels, restaurants and water parks. The government has decided to levy electricity bills only on actual use of electricity.
