Viral extortion call clip row: Amreli Police nabs accused Chhatrapalsinh Vala

Amreli: District Police has nabbed one Chhatrapalsinh Vala after audio clip of his extortion phone call to owner of Gurudutt petrol pump went viral. Vala had dared Amreli District Superintendent of Police Nirlipt Rai and demanded Rs. 10 lakh extortion money from a petrol pump owner over a phone call. Vala had threatened petrol pump owner to face gun firing as the owner refused to agree to pay extortion money. Police nabbed Vala from Movia village of Gondal taluka in Rajkot district. Vala is 35-year old and resident of Amreli. He has been booked in various offences of crimes in the past in the district. DeshGujarat
The accused Chatrapal Vala has been arrested by Amreli LCB team within 48 hours of FIR registration.He is accused of extorting the patrol pump owner in Amreli.
