Gandhinagar: Gujarat reported 151 fresh cases of Covid-19 infection in 24 hours ending at 5 pm today against recovery of 619 covid patients and deaths of 2 as per today’s bulletin by the State health department released this evening.

The State has now 5,639 active covid cases and over 98 per cent recovery rate.

The State today achieved record number of covid19 vaccine doses administered in a day which was over 4.87 lakh, taking the total number of doses administered so far in the State up at over 2.25 crore.

Among cities and districts, Ahmedabad city reported further low 36 fresh cases followed by Surat city at 16, Junagadh at 10, Surat district at 10, Vadodara district at 10, Rajkot city at 9 among other places. The districts namely Ahmedabad, Arvalli, Banaskantha, Botad, Chhota Udepur, Dahod, Dang, Gandhinagar, Mahisagar, Morbi, Narmada, Patan, Sabarkatnaha, Surendranagar, Tapi reported zero fresh cases.
