PSA oxygen generating plant inaugurated at Gadhda CHC

Gandhinagar: Preparing for the possibility of third wave of covid pandemic, the Government has set up and inaugurated another PSA oxygen plant at Gadhda based Community Health Centre (CHC) at a cost of Rs. 22 lakh. A 150 liter per minute capacity PSA oxygen plant was virtually inaugurated by State Chief Minister today. Speaking on this occasion he said the government has aimed to set up 300 oxygen generating plants of 1800 mt total capacity in view of possibility of third wave of pandemic. Of this 275 plants have been erected already. Rupani said, the state has come to 70 fresh cases per day from the mark of 14,000 cases during peak of pandemic. He said 8 lakh persons have recovered from covid infection in th State.
