Two underpasses to be constructed in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has OKayed construction of Under-passes at CH-2 and CH-3 Junctions on CH-road of Gandhinagar. The construction work of both under-passes at a cost of Rs 72.80 crores will begin soon, as per a statement released by the office of Deputy Chief Minister.
Finance Minister Nitinbhai Patel had announced the construction of same two underpasses to resolve the traffic issue on Ch-2 and Ch-3 junction of CH-road in Gandhinagar in this year’s budget.
Each of these underpasses will be 450-metre-long with 100 metre long main bridge and 1200 metre long approach. Moreover, construction of a service road of 2 km length is also planned. The underpasses will be constructed with an aim of resolving the issue of traffic along with preserving the identity of Gandhinagar as ‘Green-city’. DeshGujarat
