Ahmedabad: RTPCR tests of 120 Khalas community Rath Pullers of the Rath Yatra were conducted today in the campus of Shri Jagannathji Temple, Ahmedabad.

The reports will arrive within 24 hours after the tests. 70 additional Rath pullers are kept as standbys to replace any existing Rath puller who (if) tests positive for Covid-19.

Rath Yatra will be held with strictly following the Covid-19 guidelines this year on July 12. The RTPCR tests of the Rath pullers were conducted considering the same. DeshGujarat
