Reports circulating on mortality of fishes in Aquatics Gallery incorrect: Marinescape
July 21, 2021
Ahmedabad: Marinescape Limited a company that takes care of newly set up Aquatic gallery at Science City here today in a statement regarding media reports on fish mortality at Aquatic gallery said,
“This is to inform that there are media reports circulating about the mortality of fishes in the Aquatics gallery and many of the images that are being circulated are not of dead fish but of nocturnal fish or those that may be asleep.
In the event of any failure of life support system in a particular tank, all the fishes would have been affected, but that did not take place in any of the tanks.
Also, the images of the dead species shown in one of the locations is that of the fish food storage room where usually the fish feed is stored in a frozen form. Any/all reports on mortality is false and incorrect.” DeshGujarat
