Aslam Bodiyo threatens court staffers from prison during video conferences

Vadodara: Gangster Aslam Bodiya has in latest threatened two employees of the court during video conferences from the jail. Court has ordered registrar of the court to file a police complaint against this notorious criminal regarding the same.

Vadodara based gangster Aslam Bodiya and his Bichoo gang is currently jailed in Vadodara after the crime was filed against them under GujCTOC Act. More than 70 crimes including eviction, extortion, murder and attempt to murder are filed against him and his gang.

The prisoners of judicial custody are presented in court every 14 days which is currently done through video conferencing due to Covid-19 guidelines. Aslam Bodiya was presented to the court on 25th May through video conferencing during which he threatened two employees of the court by saying that be prepared for the outcome. He had threatened one of the court-employees after arguing about his term. He had threatened another court employee after he was informed about rejection of his jail transfer application by him. The registrar of court had informed the investigation officer of Gotri Police station through a letter.

Aslam Bodiya had applied for a regular bail at Vadodara district court. Special Public Prosecutor Raghuvir Pandya had informed the judges about the threats from Aslam Bodiya to court employees while opposing this bail.
