Gujarat cadre IPS Rakesh Asthana is new Police Commissioner of Delhi

New Delhi: Gujarat cadre officer of Indian Police Service (IPC) Rakesh Asthana has been appointed new Commissioner of Police of Delhi. Asthana is presently serving as Director General of India’s Border Security Force (BSF). Asthana had served as Police Commissioner of Surat city in Gujarat in the past among other posts in the state.
