Night curfew in 8 cities of Gujarat relaxed by an hour

Gandhinagar: A core committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today decided to relax night curfew which is effective in 8 cities of Gujarat at present, by an hour. As per this decision which will be effective from 31st of July, night curfew will start daily at 11 pm instead of 10 pm. It will conclude daily at 6 am. Hotels and restaurants in these 8 cities can remain open till 10 pm from July 31st.
The Government has also allowed gathering of 400 persons in open with effect from 31st of July, instead of present ceiling of 200 persons. If the event is in organized in closed hall, the ceiling will be 400 but in limit of only 50 per cent of total capacity of hall.
