Mehsana: A female of 17 years of age died due to a blast in her mobile phone kept on charge when engaged in a call in Chhetasna village of Bahucharaji Taluka in Mehsana.

A mobile-phone exploded when a female named Shraddha Desai was talking on a phone-call while the mobile phone was plugged to the charging upstairs in the house. It caused on the spot death of the female due to severe injury. The accident took place at 9 AM today.

The dry fodder in the house had caught fire which was extinguished by the people by throwing water. The Talati of the village had reached the spot after knowing about the accident and the information was also conveyed to the police. DeshGujarat
