Vadodara: Last rites of Hariprasad Swami will take place at Limda van (neem forest) opposite Akshar Purushottam Mandir in Haridham Sokhada on 1st August in presence of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and large number of saints and followers. Mortal remains of Hariprasad Swami will be showered with water of 8 rivers. Wood from 8 types of trees will be used for agni sanskar (funeral) of Hariprasad Swami (87) who founded Swaminarayan sect organizations – Yogi Divine Society and Atmiya Pariwar in 1960s. A brick was placed today as per religious custom at proposed Samadhi Mandir of Hariprasad Swami which will come up at the place of his funeral in coming years. DeshGujarat
