Groundbreaking for new 200-bed Civil hospital in Anand soon: Nitin Patel

Anand: Foundation stone laying ceremony for start of works to construct a new civil hospital in district headquarters Anand will take place soon, said Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel who is also Health minister of the State.
Speaking at ‘Nari-Gaurav Divas’ function at Town Hall in Anand on August 4, Patel said, the state government has taken over charge of Anand municipality run hospital to provide healthcare services there. He added that the planning and designing work of a 200-bed capacity new civil hospital is underway. Proposed hospital will come up at Vyayam Shala plot of Anand at a cost of Rs 60 crores with an aim of providing modern health facilities to the poor and middle-class families, he said adding that foundation stone laying will be performed soon.
