Rupani announces new agriculture and veterinary colleges in Kutch

Bhuj: Gujarat CM Vijaybhai Rupani has announced agriculture and veterinary colleges in Kutch district.

Rupani was speaking in a function to add more villages to Kisan Suryodaa Yojana, a scheme that aims to supply daytime electricity for agriculture to more than 1500 villages in the state. Rupani also laid foundation stone for new godowns to be built at 7 places in the state by Gujarat State Seeds Corporation under Saat Pagla Khedut Kalyan scheme.

Rupani dedicated Govardhan Ahir Kanya Vidhya Sankul managed by Kutch Patan Prathaliya Ahir community in Satapar village of Anjar Taluka in Kutch.

He chaired a meeting in Bhuj to discuss tourism and development related projects in Kutch. During the discussion about 357 km Kutch canal network, Rupani asked to complete the pending 5 percent work of 17 kms. He also discussed development of Mata No Madh development and Smrutivan memorial projects.

Rupani visited the Smrutivan Project being developed in 470 acres of land on Bhujiya hill in the memory of those who died in the earthquake of Kutch of 2001. He observed the facilities developed here till now within 175 acres and checked the possibilities for completion of the work for dedication of this park on upcoming 26th January. DeshGujarat
