Evacuees from Kabul to fly Delhi via Jamnagar

Jamnagar: The C-17 aircraft of Indian Air Force with all the evacuees crossed into Indian air space post 11am (IST) and land at Jamnagar air base of Indian Air Force(IF).
The IAF aircraft is expected to reach Delhi around 1pm. The aircraft is in Jamnagar for refueling. Gujarati lunch was prepared by local administration and served at Jamnagar to evacuees. District Collector, Minister of State and local MLA etc reached Jamnagar airbase.
Avoiding Pakistan Airspace, IAF C17 heavy lift aircraft took the longer route via Iran and landed in Jamnagar, Gujarat. IAF evacuated Indians from Kabul embassy (including staffs, ITBP soldiers) and others. There are women and children also among those evacuees. A girl child having fever was treated at IAF medical facility within air base. DeshGujarat
